Life Enrichment Expo comes to Hall of Fame April 27

Get tips on everything from eating healthy for your heart to working with digital pictures at this year's Life Enrichment Expo, slated for Thursday, April 27, 1:30-6:30 p.m. in the MassMutual Room at the Basketball Hall of Fame. There's something for everyone! At this not-to-be-missed event now the only Expo of goods and services for men and women age 50-plus in western Mass you'll be able to get information from more than 75 exhibitors, all under one roof! Stop by the Norwegian Cruise Line booth for the latest on great getaways, the Springfield Museums for a schedule of classes and events, the Springfield School Volunteers booth for ways to help inspire the next generation, and the SeniorNet exhibit for ways to get along better with your computer. You'll also find lots of advice, information and tips on everything from investing to active retirement living when you visit the exhibits by St. Germain Investment Management, Bacon & Wilson. P.C. Attorneys at Law, the Loomis Communities, Blue Cross Blue Shield of MA, the Bradley Teletheater, Avada Hearing Care Center, Baystate VNA and Hospice, East Village Place, Keystone Woods, Agawam Medical Supply, and more. As always, admission is free, there will be plenty of free on-site parking and all the exhibits are handicapped accessible. Screenings, fashions, lectures, more! Presented by the Springfield Jewish Community Center and PRIME Magazine, with major sponsorship by NovaCare Rehabilitation and additional sponsorship by People's Bank and WMAS AM 1450, the Life Enrichment Expo will also feature screenings and entertainment in the MassMutual Exhibit Hall throughout the afternoon. Get checked for headache and neck pain by NovaCare, see heart-healthy nutrition demos by Baystate Health Systems, enjoy a strolling fashion show presented by D'va Coutour and listen to live entertainment by the JCC Theatrix A Capella singers. Throughout the Expo, visitors can also take in special lectures and events in the Basketball Hall of Fame Auditorium. At 2 p.m., Jonathan Evans, co- owner of The Herbarium of Chicopee will present "Everything You've Heard About Herbs And Vitamins is Wrong!". At 3 p.m., NovaCare Rehabilitation will present "Strong the the Core Functional Strength for Life." At 4 p.m., get tips on handling your digital photos when the local chapter of SeniorNet presents,"So You've Taken Your Digital Photos ... Now What?". And at 5 p.m., enjoy a multi-generational ballroom dance presentation, "Red Hot Ballroom."
