CHICOPEE Fresh from his European and South African tour portraying the legendary "Chairman of the Board," Chicopee native Patrick Tobin becomes Frank Sinatra as he and his seven-piece orchestra present an evening of total entertainment Patrick Tobin Sings Sinatra From the Heart at The HuKeLau on Sept. 9 to benefit the Heart to Heart Foundation.
A portion of the proceeds from the concert will go to the Heart to Heart Foundation of North Brookfield, an organization which provides funds to families with chronically ill children.
Tickets for Patrick Tobin Sings Sinatra From the Heart are $22. Doors open for dinner seating at 4:30 p.m. with the show starting at 6 p.m. Magician Jonas Cain will open the show. Call The HuKeLau at 413-593-5222 to reserve tickets.
"The Heart to Heart Foundation established by the Fiske family, is such a worthy organization," Tobin said. "I have been privileged to perform at several of their fund-raising events and to meet the families they have helped. Heart to Heart works tirelessly to meet family needs which are not covered by insurance. It is an honor to raise funds which help out the kids."
With his young Sinatra look and the voice to match, Tobin recreats the legendary singer through his renditions of "Fly Me to the Moon," "New York, New York," "My Way," "The Lady is a Tramp," "Luck Be a Lady Tonight," and "Bewitched, Bothered and Bewildered," just to name a few Sinatra favorites. "We are delighted that Patrick has chosen to raise funds for the Heart to Heart Foundation," said Heart to Heart Foundation founder Richard "Dick" Fiske. "Patrick is a talented singer and his performances have added class and elegance to our fund-raising events. We are looking forward to Patrick's concert at The HuKeLau on Sept. 9 and hope to see many of our supporters there."
