The National Yiddish Book Center, located on the campus of Hampshire College, 1021 West St., Amherst, will present "From the Bible to Broadway: 3000 years of Jewish Music," with music historian and archivist Barry Serota on Nov. 2 at 2 p.m. Tickets are $6. "From the Bible to Broadway: 3000 years of Jewish Music" will explore the world of Jewish music in a multimedia presentation using audio and video clips, anecdotes, and humor. Curator of American Art Randall Griffey leads this highlights tour of major artists and works represented in Amherst College's distinguished collection. The tour also celebrates the museum's history by focusing on key donors who helped create this artistic legacy for present and future generations.
