Nov. 8, Heroes Welcome. The Chicopee Council on Aging will be celebrating Veteran's Day with a special event titled "Heroes Welcome" at 1 p.m. at the Chicopee Senior Center. Recognition made to the 65th anniversary to the end of World War II and the 60th anniversary to the start of the Korean War.
