| Three web sites. One may be helpful if you have a company blog or are thinking of starting one. The other two are tongue in cheek keeping with some of the articles in this issue about award winning companies, but these awards or recognition on these web sites are dubious but fun. Dubious Business Decisions Since we highlighted area businesses that are award winners, we thought for a change of pace you can go to a page on www.neatorama.com and look at some of the stupidest business decisions in history. They are excerpted from Uncle John's All-Purpose Extra Strength Bathroom Reader, a tomb we have not perused. The exact link is here is you want a few laughs: www.neatorama.com/2008/04/15/the-stupidest-business-decisions-in-history. Worst Cars Ever And the votes have been counted and the Car Talk web site has announced the results of the ten worst (American) cars ever. It's fun to remember, as one voter did about his car that made the list. Said he, "After the floor boards rusted out in the rear, they would fill up with water and freeze. I ended up putting soda crates on the floor in the back to keep people from falling under the car." Have a chuckle at the list right here: www.cartalk.com/content/features/Worst-Cars/results1.html. |
