PRIME – March 2015 WACHUSETT, Mass. – The Massachusetts Senior Games kick off the 2015 season with two winter events. The 20th Annual Alpine Skiing and Snowboarding competition will take place March 4 at Wachusett Mountain Ski Area in Princeton, Mass. Events include a two-run Giant Slalom and a single-run Super-G from high up on the mountain. All athletes compete in five-year age groups starting with 40 to 44 years of age, all the way up to 85 to 89 years of age and 90-plus. Following morning competition, there is an optional buffet luncheon and an awards ceremony. Register online at www.maseniorgames.org or at Wachusett on the day of the event with a small late fee. The Nordic (Cross-Country) Skiing event takes place at Notchview in Windsor, Mass., March 7 in conjunction with their Bread ‘n Jam 10k Classic. Five-year age groups are the same as the Alpine event, register online at www.maseniorgames.org or day-of-event.
